We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to support our growth initiatives and help identify new business opportunities. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in sales, market research, client engagement, and strategy development.
As a Business Development Intern, you will work closely with the Business Development and Operations teams to support lead generation, build relationships, assist with proposals, and contribute to the overall growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and growth opportunities.
- Support lead generation activities, including outreach, follow-up, and CRM entry.
- Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and marketing materials for prospective clients.
- Help maintain and update databases, client lists, and sales tracking tools.
- Participate in meetings, take notes, and assist with follow-up actions.
- Support business development events, networking initiatives, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and marketing initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support to the business development team as needed.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM tools is an asset.
