Position Overview
PKF Antares is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Audit Intern to join our growing External Audit team. This opportunity is ideal for a second- or third-year Accounting student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on public practice experience in a collaborative and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with audit and assurance engagements

Participate in testing internal controls and substantive procedures

Prepare working papers and audit documentation

Assist in drafting financial statements and audit reports

Perform other accounting and financial reconciliations as required
Requirements & Qualifications
-
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an Accounting, Finance, or related degree or diploma program.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Understanding of Canadian accounting standards (ASPE/IFRS).

Basic knowledge of financial reporting and audit principles.

Proficiency in MS Excel (including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF, and Pivot Tables).

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Self-motivated, organized, and team-oriented.
Assets:

Previous experience in accounting or audit.

Familiarity with Canadian taxation principles.
